Unity “indie” now free
Just wanted to pass along the news that Unity 3D “indie” has now been renamed simply to Unity and is now free!
Unity for those who don’t know, is a great toolset for 3D development. It has a lot of features and great scripting support plus it works across multiple platforms without any changes to the script. I normally wouldn’t promote such a thing on here, but seriously its a great tool for prototyping.
In other news, my apologies for not doing an interview again this week. It just so happens that this week was Eurogamer week here in the UK and sadly all of the people in my “waiting for interview replies” queue were away at the event. So hopefully they’ll all be back next week and I can get the queue full again!
